Do you like the Boise Art Museum (BAM) as much as I do? You may know that I’m pretty new to Idaho and Boise. When we moved here, one of the first places we visited and join was BAM. I now support them with activities involving LEGO as art.
On sale in the gift shop are three of my creations that are exclusive to celebrate our love of BAM. My Brick Idaho series has hit a cord in the community, and I created a special version with two printed bricks in colors that match the museum’s logo.
One of my largest kits to date coming in at 102 bricks is the iconic Sculpture Garden of the museum done in a micro scale:
Then my personal favorite is a recreation in micro-scale of the original gallery entrance inside the front lobby. This integration of art and architecture immediately fascinated me and I had to build it in LEGO. A much larger version is under design, but other projects have gotten in the way of getting it done.
This is a limited exclusive series and your response will determine if I continue with a BAM theme going forward. Please support BAM and my artwork by shopping at the gift shop!
